Resume / CV
A resume of professional work in the field is strongly recommended (although occasionally the programdoes accept superior students who have recently graduated from an undergraduate program). Optional but recommended.
Letters of Recommendation
Three letters of recommendation.
Please upload an unofficial transcript for any institution of higher education at which you have completed 15 or more credit hours. International applicants: please make sure that your transcript includes a grading schemes. All others: please include a grading scheme if your university does not use a letter-based (e.g. A, A-, B) grading scheme.
The minimum GPA to be considered: 3 (for regular admission). Students who do not meet these requirements, but who excel in other areas, may be considered for Admission with Permission to Continue.
English Proficiency Test
Official English proficiency test score from TOEFL, IELTS or PTE – required for applicants whose first language is not English, unless they have a U.S. degree earned within three years (of enrolling in their graduate program) or have studied in the U.S. for two years immediately prior to enrolling here.
The minimum score(s) to be considered for regular admission:
TOEFL: 79, IELTS: 6.5, PTE: 59.
Writing SampleThree writing or marketing samples are required for the applicants in specialty area "Theatre Management."
PortfolioPortfolio review including resume is required for the specialty areas of Design & Production. It needs to show evidence of both technical and design abilities. Digital portfolio or links to website should be submitted before interview or application.
InterviewA personal interview (either at a conference or on campus) is necessary for applicants in these specialty areas: Design, Production, Directing and Management.
AuditionApplicants in the specialty area "Acting" need to arrange an appointment for audition.
